[The feed opens to the sound of a somewhat ominous piano piece, unknown to the public at large save for the select people who share the Pokemon League castle's roof with Cynthia back home - or for the few who ever managed to get past the final member Elite Four.

Deft fingers keep on urging keys and strings and bringing music forth for a good while longer, until the final notes are played. That's when a pair of "Gaaaar!" and "Togeto!"  join in, prompting a small chuckle from her.]

Ah, you were right, sweethearts-- playing the piano really did help soothe and lift my spirits a little. I do still worry for those who disappeared, though. Have they been found yet, I wonder?

[Garchomp interrupts her train of thought with a growl, as though making a point.] You think we could go look for them, Garchomp? That's an excellent idea! We should start right away!

[This time, it is Togekiss who protests, patting the keyboard with a wing.] Oh, all right, Togekiss. But just one more song and then we're off, okay?

[Until the feed times out, the only thing that can be heard is the sound of the piano.]

I've got a pet at home, but he's just a normal dog.

[...And he looks around at the sound of her approach, putting his pink communicator away when he realizes who it is. He tips his hat with a smile, then points up at Garchomp's head.]

What are those things on its head? Horns, ears?

[Cynthia returns his smile with one of her own, whereas Garchomp growls in greeting. It sounds a little terrifying, but she actually means well.]

Those are Garchomp's horns, yes! They resemble jet engines a little, don't they??

It sounds fierce, too! [He certainly hopes it's one of those cases where they look big and scary, but are actual sweeties on the inside. Like pit bulls.]

Maybe... a little? [That would be a weird thing to have on an animal, wouldn't it?]

She is! If it weren't for Garchomp, I probably wouldn't be standing here right now.

[Cynthia reaches out to pat the Pokemon's head and snout in thanks, to which Garchomp responds with a content growl. See, she -is- a sweetie on the inside. ♥]

"She"? [If that's what the girl looks like, he'd hate to see what the boys of the species look like. But she looks awful cute in a fierce sort of way, getting petted like that.] Could I pet her? [It's not like it could bite through the metal of his hand... right?]

[Aside from a cut on their dorsal fin, male Garchomp are not all that different from females, actually.]

Oh, of course! [She then turns to the Pokemon.] You don't mind that, do you, sweetheart?

Gaaar. [Staaaaaaare. She's not going to bite or anything, so it's safe to go ahead but, really. Petting is for cute and cuddly Pokemon. Garchomp is badass, tyvm.]

[Gadget cautiously reaches up and gives the yellow spot on Garchomp's nose a few gentle strokes.] Good girl. [He has a natural affinity with animals, so he's not TOO worried... too bad Pokemon aren't animals.]

[He sticks his hands back in his pockets, and turns back to Cynthia.] Where did you want to look first?

[Well, Garchomp might not be an animal, but she does enjoy being petted. So here, have a bit of a content growl in return - but just a little because she's badass, you see.]

Oh, I'm not sure, to be honest. Although the last time people were kidnapped, they were kept in the sewers...
